What do we mean by Community Tennis?   Essentially everything outside the established performance and development strands.   The aim is to cover everything from Schools to Parks and smaller clubs within this band, and to get those "once a year after Wimbledon" players to use their rackets all year round! 

Our Reach Out project is designed to ensure that we maintain contact with clubs that might otherwise be lower down the priority list for the LTA Field Team.

In 2009 we will be implementing a comprehensive Grass Roots Tennis strategy which will aim to co-ordinate and expand upon a number of existing successful activities, with the objective of increasing participation in the sport for all ages, abilites and areas of the County.  For a graphical representation click Our Grass Roots Strategy
